Eek time is absolutely flying by and it’s getting closer and closer to Rabbits arrival! I’m now in week 32 and getting more and more excited by the day.

I said in my last post that my aim was to get things done this week and I think I’ve been pretty productive! This week we bought our bugaboo from John Lewis. It got delivered on Monday and we set it up yesterday – it’s fab and I can’t wait to try it out … and review it of course!

I also picked up the changing mat I ordered from Mothercare, found mine and Rabbit’s hospital bags and got the moses basket and swinging crib set up next to my side of the bed!

I’ve still got a few bits and pieces to do but all in all I’m feeling a lot more prepared!

Onto the little man:

As big as a … Squash! He still averages between 2.5-3.8 pounds and around 16 inches!

Position – According to the app he’s likely to be head down and I can certainly confirm this! I still feel like I’ve been drop kicked every time I strand up so he’s definitely nice and snug down there!

Movements – Lots of rolls and digs but not so many kicks now, I guess he’s running out of room in there!

As for muma:

Homework– I’ve been practising my cat crawl and ball bounces to try and get Rabbit to flip. You never know he may have flipped already but I’m still doing the movements to be sure.

I’ve also been taking my iron tablets and eating lots of iron rich food. I’ve not noticed any difference but hopefully it’s doing some good!

Pelvic floors – IF I remember I do it, but that is a big IF. Shame on me I know and I’m sure I’ll be kicking myself when I’m peeing myself when I sneeze but it’s so hard to remember to do it!

Waddle – I’m looking more and more like a feeble everyday. I find myself really waddling and have to tell myself to straighten up before I look too much like a penguin!

Diastasis Recti – I’ve noticed recently that whenever I sit up from laying down my stomach kind of bulges in the middle. It’s not Rabbit as it’s really squishy like fat. When I googled it I found that it’s Diastasis Recti, where the muscles separate. I’d heard about that happening after birth but not during. I’m still not 100% on the causes, treatments, care etc so I’ll find out and probably do an update on here soon!

Quite an easy going week so far for me and the Rabbit!

Thanks for reading 🙂
