Pregnancy stretchmark creams

At just over 26 weeks pregnant I’ve finally given into the idea that I need to start using stretch mark products. When I was pregnant with Jasper I did use bio oil throughout but I think it was more for the novelty of it; the excited feeling that I was using something specifically for my pregnancy. I was lucky enough to not have any stretch marks except for a small one between my belly button and where my belly piercing used to be which completely disappeared once I gave birth; leaving me thinking I just wasn’t genetically predisposed to get stretch marks like most.

With this pregnancy though, my one stretch mark from before has already reappeared and I’ve started to get very light ones on my upper thighs/ below my hips. I’m a lot bigger at this stage of pregnancy than I was at the same stage last time so I reckon I have a lot more growing to go and probably a few more stretch marks to welcome. With that in mind, I’ve been trying out some fab stretch mark lotions and potions and I’m going to share with you my favourites!

None of these are pregnancy specific and not even stretch mark specific. I jsut went for a range of products that focused on smoothing, firming and toning the skin, mostly using natural products that are gentle on the skin.

I went for a mixture of oils, creams, lotions and balms as everyone’s skin is different and as your skin changes so much during pregnancy, I thought it would be best to try out a variety to see what worked best.

I go into detail on each one in my recent pregnancy stretch mark products vlog; so please do watch that to find out what I thought.
