Maternity fashion #OOTD

I’ve not really bought much in the way of maternity clothing. I’m quite lucky in that most of my clothes still fit me as I’ve always quite liked biggish tops with leggings or skinny jeans. Admitedly any trousers now have to be worn underneath my bump, but top wise I only have a handful of things that I can’t wear anymore.

Saying that, I did get a bit excited a couple of months ago (when I hardly even had a bump) and bought some lovely maternity items! Back then my bump, or lack there of, didn’t really do them any justice but now they really seem to complement by ever expanding belly!

Here is my pregnancy outfit of the day #OOTD!

It’s a floral swing dress from the ASOS maternity range. I love the colours of it and think it fits perfectly for a Spring bump! The material is quite stretchy so it fit’s really nicely and makes for a really comfortable outfit day or night!IMG_1974 IMG_1977It may be a little too cold still to go bare legged so I’d team it with tights if I was going outside today and would go for either flat pumps or ankle boots!

With it having such a busy pattern I’m not bothering to accessorise it. When I first purchased it I did wear a cream belt on top of my bump but that was to try to highlight my bump! This was back in November, I think the belt is subtle enough to be ok!IMG_2423I have a few more maternity items so I’ll be posting similar #OOTD posts like this 🙂
