We’ve had quite the week for milestones in the Avey household! Jasper hasn’t just decided to hot us with one incredible little skill, oh no, he’s good the whole hodge and given us three!
I’m so annoyed that where we’re in the middle of moving I’ve packed his milestone cards so I can’t document these properly but I promise I will once we’re settled. So here we go:

Solids – this has been a bit hit and miss really. So far he’s tried baby rice milk, baby porridge, Farleys rusks and banana. The first time he has each he loves them and then after that he’s not fussed. I definitely wouldn’t say he’s ‘on solids’ but he’s tried them!

Sitting– Jaspy has now sat up, by himself, unaided, like a little champ for 10 whole seconds! And I’m not talking rushed I’m talking a normal count of 10!

He’s reluctant to do it again as he loves standing so he always bucks his legs to stand but he can do it!

Standing– this may be cheating but I stood Jaspy up I front of the sofa at my in laws and he stood there. His arms were propped on the sofa and until he wanted to turn to face us, he balanced himself so well! Super proud!

I will blog about each one once I have my milestone cards unpacked but for now I’ll just revel in my proudness
