Before you get the pitch forks out no I’m not saying I wish I had a girl; I’m not saying that I don’t want a boy and I do not dress my son in girls clothing … just sometimes, once a day at the most, I like to put his hair in a ponytail!
Jaspy has the cutest shiny messy hair, It sprouted out of nowhere and continues to grow in all directions like a jungle cub! My hope is that it’ll go wavy and I can keep it long (I really don’t like long straight hair on boys) but this means going through that awkward growing out stage. You know when you’re growing out your fringe and have to clip it out of your way? Well that’s what we have to do with Jaspy. It’s not long enough to tuck behind his ears but if I don’t it sticks out over them.
His fringe is getting so close to his eyes so it’s either twist it into some creepy point in the middle, or tie it up! Of course this is my preferred option … and look at the cuteness!
Next stop – top knot!
Thanks for reading,
~J~

You know what? I have awkward fringe thing going on at the mo – it’s growing back after the post-natal hairloss (grrr) so I’m thinking I might have to style it out like Jaspy!

16th January 2015 at 6:54 amHe is just too cute. Joey’s hair is coming on a treat, if he had so much hair in the way I would probably put it in a pony tale. I think it’s cute

20th January 2015 at 9:44 pmAww, there’s no harm in that. Better that he can see than be peeping out from under a long fringe 🙂
