Top Tips for Christmas

Hello guys! With fresh Autumn air and Halloween crafts in full swing it’s also time for those crazies out there (yes I’m included) to start prepping for Christmas! I’ve been known to be a last minute shopper, refusing to even acknowledge that Christmas is coming until December but weirdly the older I’ve gotten the earlier I’ve started to get excited! I guess because now I’m a parent I have a whole new world of excitement ahead of me with the boys getting ready for the big day, plus being a responsible adult I can’t leave it to my mum to get my presents anymore!

This year I’ve been super organised and by the end of September I’d already gotten all of the men and boys in our families presents and half of the womens! The boys have most of their gifts from Father Christmas and my gifts to Pete are all set to go as well!

What usually happens though is I get cocky, I think I’m so far ahead of the Christmas game that I leave everything else until the last minute and end up being that Christmas eve frantic shopper fighting for the last turkey in Asda. SO to avoid any of that and keep my current Christmas calm, I’m taking the advice of Alexander & Co accountants in Manchester who have created this fab Christmas planning infographic!

Wow you are prepared! We haven’t done anything remotely Christmas yet. It’s my daughters birthday Christmas Eve so I think we better start.

Ahh with a birthday Christmas eve I bet it’s a pain to think about Christmas. Pete’s birthday is the 12th December so I’ve made sure tog et his presents sorted and out of the way to focus on the festive season 🙂
