The time has come … Jaspy starts nursery

Oh my goodness I can’t believe the time has come for my bambino to start nursery. It’s such a strange feeling, that this is the beginning, next he’ll be at play school, school, college, university and then work!

It makes me feel slightly sad when I think of it like that; this is the only time that he doesn’t have to be away from me and I’m choosing for him to; but I know it’s the right decision.

Jaspy started at a wonderful nursery around the corner from our house this week. He’ll be going two mornings a week, Tuesday and Thursday 8am-1pm. I think this will be fab for him, not only to have lots of fun and make friends but for him to learn and develop and get used to being away from me and around other people.

It’ll also be a good chance for me to focus more on my blog and Youtube channel. I hate that I spend Jaspy’s nap times working, as well as in the evenings when I’d love to relax with Pete. There aren’t enough hours in the day and I still end up on my phone or laptop while Japser is awake and I want that to stop.

I plan to get super organised (as much as an unorganised Muma like me can be); I want to schedule my posts and videos, respond to emails quickly and just work on that to do list and keep on top of it.

I know it’s only 10 hours a week but I really think it’ll be a great start and make our family a much more balanced one.

Financially it’s not going to affect us too much; it’s £28 for a half day which does add up but hopefully I’ll be earning more anyway so it’ll all even out!

So Jasper is now a nursery boy, with a backpack, uniform tee and a garden with chickens!! Here’s how it’s going so far:

Thanks for reading/ watching lovelies!

I am sure he will love nursery, all the new toys and children to play with.
