Being a mother I’ve come to realise just how awesome I am … I’m sure you mumas out there will agree. We can do a lot of things, some I honestly think would make me be sick before I had Jasper … others are what dreams are made of! 1

I love everything about Jaspy. My whole world revolves around him; around his sleeping, eating, playtime and development. My minds constantly consumed by thoughts of where to take him, what to do with him, what to buy him … but rarely did I ever focus on him – plain, simple Jasper.

A couple of weeks ago I posted about the difficulties I’d found in making new mummy friends through baby groups and classes. Don’t get me wrong, I do have a few friends with babies already, but making new ones seems to be a tad tricky.

Around 7:30 in the evening on Tuesday 15th April (40 weeks+3) I started having contractions. It took me a while to realise that they were in fact contractions as I’d been having Braxton Hicks for about a month and some were so intense that I really couldn’t tell the difference.
