This morning me and Mr Squish went on a lovely little shopping trip into Eastleigh. He slept the whole time which gave muma the chance to pick up a few lovely items. I didn’t realise until I got home but theres a bit of a green theme going on … all to match the blog I guess!
So here’s what I got:
Mint Jacquard Cami from Dorothy Perkins – Size 8 – £12
I love this colour at the moment, it’s really fresh and summery. I’m not sure how I’ll wear it as I know my nursing bra will show underneath so I’ll have to do a bit of experimenting!
Breastfeeding Support Vitamins from Boots – Vitamin D, Calcium and Folic – £13.29
As my diet hasn’t been great lately (too many takeaways and chocolates) I felt like I needed a bit of a boost; not only for me but for Jasper too. I was going to buy the Pregnacare version but these were slightly cheaper and do the same thing.
Turquoise crate box from TK Maxx – £9.99
I have a bit of a thing for storage boxes, I’m constantly trying to find reasons to buy them – things need homes right!? As our lounge is a grey and turquoise theme, but is slightly lacking in turquoise items I thought this crate would look fab. The lining is a soft grey and it would go really great besides the fireplace to store cables and remotes and other messy items in.
Daisy necklace from Dorothy Perkins – £7
I picked this up at the counter while paying for the cami (consumer psychology right there!) as I thought it was really dainty and pretty. I’ve had my eye on the daisy ring from Pandora so this would be my push to buy it!
Macadamia oil from TK Maxx – £6.99
I’ve been hearing all the fab reviews on different oils such as argon and macadamia and when I saw this one so cheap in TK Maxx I thought I’d better give it a go! I washed my hair with Co-op’s own brand of tea-tree shampoo and conditioner this morning and both me and Pete have found that it’s really drying, so I decided my hair needed a bit of TLC!
Pink Ethnic Print Kimono from New Look – Size 8 – £19.99
This again was a counter buy! I initially picked up a black and white version and when I got to the till I mentioned to the lady that I’d love it in other colours. She then hurried off and brought me a range of bright kimonos and I went for this one. I love the ethnic print and summery shades 🙂
It felt really good to know that we’ve already got everything we need for Squishy so I could go out and treat myself to a few little bits and pieces without feeling guilty. I did however get the shopping bug and now have a list of things I want and a few stores to check out online … oh dear!
Thanks for reading!
