Maternity Swimwear

Finding stylish maternity swimwear was never an issue when I was pregnant with Jasper. My first trimester was spent living in Dubai but as my bump didn’t start to really show until much later in my pregnancy when we moved back to the UK, I never had a need for any. I simply made do with my non-maternity bikinis on the couple of occasions that we went swimming with Rhys and just prayed my boobs wouldn’t pop out for all to see!

This time around though I’m about to embark on my second holiday of this pregnancy and with a due date in August, I know I need to start investing in some appropriate swimwear.

I have tried going up a size to cover my ever growing boobs but they just never seem to fit properly. That’s why I’ve been on the hunt for some stylish maternity swimwear – not an easy task I tell you!

I’ve found it really tricky to find any maternity bikinis, I guess because you’re supposed to keep your bump covered and protected, so swimsuits it is. I was really good on my last holiday, using a high factor sunscreen on my bump and staying in the shade as much as possible but I guess it’s time to give in and go for the all in one!

Here are my top picks from ASOS, Seraphine, Jojo Maman Bebe and La Redoute.

Please do let me know where you get your maternity swimwear from as I really do struggle to find anything I’d actually wear if I weren’t pregnant. ASOS seems to be the best place, with a lovely range so definitely check out what else they have on offer; but I’m still not massively impressed and I’m convinced there’s a boutique store online somewhere selling stunning preggo swimsuits just waiting to be discovered!

Thanks for reading,

Jess x

It’s definitely better than anything else I can find at the moment!
