Whilst pregnant with Jasper I lived in leggings, a couple of sizes up to accommodate for my bump and super comfy. This time around though I planned to rock my pregnancy and splashed out on a load of maternity jeans and trousers that although looked super stylish to begin with, slowly became uncomfortable and tight as soon as my bump started to grow.
Apart from a pair of leather look leggings from ASOS that I’m a bit obsessed with; I’ve now retired to living in plain black cotton maternity leggings and I’m getting a little sick of it. Although I love feeling comfortable, I don’t necessarily want to look comfortable all of the time.
So I’ve been browsing the web for maxi dresses, ones that can be accessorised, dressed up or down and most importantly look on trend. I love that you can wear them with ankle boots and cardigans when the weather is chilly and then with sandals and a glam sun hat when the sun is shining. The fab thing about maxi dresses during pregnancy is that not only are they comfortable and show off your bump beautifully but there’s no waistband – heaven!
