Well it’s been quite the week for milestones. I swear his sitting, solids and standing all came at once and it seems to be the same with talking and crawling.
Jaspy is now saying mama, dada and baba. I honestly don’t know the dates that he first said these. I think the first time you think ‘did he say that?’ ‘ no, it must have just been noise’, but now it’s like a constant ‘mama, baba, mama, dada, dada, dada, mama’. There’s no mistaking it, he’s officially a chatterbox!
We now can’t keep him quite; from the moment he wakes up he starts babbling away to himself in his cot and until I lay his babbling head down to sleep at night – he’s at it! I don’t think I could ever get ski of hearing him say mama; although when it’s 3 in the morning and he’s up for an hour straight refusing to sleep …. I would probably prefer silence!
What did your little one say first?
Thanks for reading,
~J~
