From the moment that I knew I was having a boy, no scratch that, even before I knew I was pregnant, I’d always said that if I had a boy I wouldn’t just dress him in blue. I have noting against boys in blue it’s just that, well, it gets a bit boring.
I mean how many baby blue sleep suits with cute teddy bears and duckies can one baby wear!?
I wanted my boy to be in funky skulls and crossbone print leggings with rocker tees and bandana bibs. Likewise to if I had a girl I wouldn’t want them to always be in pink pink pink!
But anyway, I have my gorgeous bouncing boy and throughput pregnancy I collected a few pieces that I thought were a bit different, especially as I knew I’d probably get a lot of blue from other people.
I love noting more than taking pics of my little man in his cool outfits so you can imagine my joy when Ickle Pickle announced they would be a starting an Outfit of the day (OOTD) linky! Combining the chance to show of Jasper’s trendy threads with cute pictures of him – my idea of heaven!
So here’s Jasper’s OOTD:
It’s a pretty casual one today as we’ve had a lazy day at home so I wanted him to be nice and comfy.
Long sleeved vest- H&M – this came as part of a set with black and white stripey leggings and a black and white stripey hat to make him look like a zebra.
Green joggers – Asda – also part of a set with a red joker that had a teddy face on.
Baby Snoozies – the softest little moccasin slippers I’ve ever felt!
Rabbit wasn’t too keen though as he’s kicked one off!
Well Daddy loved Jasper’s outfit so much that he decided to copy it himself! rabbit really is a little trend setter!
I’m always on the lookout for new funky places to buy boys clothes so if you know of anywhere please do let me know

12th May 2014 at 3:30 pmOh he is absolutely adorable! I love his little outfit. I tried not to dress my daughter in all pink but it was quite hard back when she was born to actually find clothes that weren’t pink for little girls! xx

15th May 2014 at 6:24 pmIt’s tricky isn’t it!? I have so much blue in his wardrobe, mainly from other people, so I have to hunt out the other colours!
