A Rustic Inspired Homeware Wish List

As you may already know (probably as I ramble on about it ALOT!) we have recently moved into a lovely barn conversion. The barn itself is beautiful so we really want to make sure that we’re putting the right furniture into it. When we lived in the cottage we kind of rush-bought and ended up with lots of pieces of furniture that were more convent and inexpensive than fitting to the home.

We’ve already begun purchasing lots of lovely pieces which you’ll see in my home tour but I still have a few items on my list. Some are a bit pricey so it’ll probably take a while to get everything but here’s a little glimpse at what homeware items I’ve got my eye on:

1 – Papa Theo Signoria Extra Large Mirror – Wayfair.co.uk £474.64

I really want this to lean against the wall at the end of my lounge. It’s about 6ft tall and reminds me of the mirrors in wedding dress boutiques!

2 – Dupond et Dupont Cinema FLoor Lamp – Dezignlover.com £400

We first saw one of these in DFS when we were buying our Chesterfield armchair and footstool. It’s really funky and different and would go perfectly in our lounge!

3 – Wall Mounted Antler Deer Head – Homesdirect.com £97.99

You can’t live in a barn and not have a deer head on your wall right!?

4 – Durester Somerset Wing Chair – Cookesfurniture.co.uk £1369

We have a lovely shabby chic telephone table in our hallway with my parents marble rotary dial corded telephone on it. I really want an antique armchair to sit next to it to sit on while I make phone calls.

5 – Shabby Chic Kitchen Dresser – Countrylifefurniture.co.uk – £795

I love love love dressers. The people who lived here before us had about 6 dotted around the lounge and hallway and I’d love one like this to go in our lounge with vintage plates and bowls in!

Hopefully you’ll see some of these in a future house tour blog but for now they can be on my Christmas list!
