Filling your home for less

As our new home is quite a bit larger than our cosy cottage, we have a lot more space to fill. This means one exciting thing for me … shoppinggggggg!!!! Ok we don’t have the funds to go buying lots of new pieces of furniture so we agreed that it would be fun to do some DIY – my dream!

Pete found a fab store called Hampshire Vintage Chic which is just over in the next village to us, Farringdon. It’s an absolute treasure trove of furniture found from house clearances and all over.

As soon as we walked in I felt inspired. Everything is seen as it’s been found and you can either pay to have them do the items up for you or take them as is and do them up yourself. It really is a DIY lovers dream.

We picked up a fab table and chairs, bookcase and a mirror which I’ll be posting our transformations of later.

I’ll certainly be back there probably on a weekly basis! If your interested in something shabby chic, vintage or bespoke then it’s definitely the place for you!

You can find them on Facebook where Lee posts all of their latest finds!

Are you working on any DIY projects at the moment?
