Festive Home Decor*

Since I’ve been with Pete I’ve adopted his families tradition of putting up the Christmas decorations on his birthday – 12th Dec. We may have to do it a little later this year as we’re moving house that weekend (yep, moving again, don’t ask) but I’m so so desperate to get them up now and I’m certainly making up for that urge by buying lots of lovely home decor pieces.

Ocean Finance recently set me the challenge of filling my home with festive loveliness and I cannot wait to share with you the fab pieces I picked up!

Glass Christmas trees – These are so so beautiful and very on trend with the mercury effect. Being glass they need to be kept out of reach of Jasper’s cheeky little fingers but otherwise they’d look so perfect in my fireplace. They’re from Asda and were £6 for the large one and £4 for the small.

Yankee Candle Wax Melt Warmer – This wax melt warmer has three scrummy Christmas scents – They all smell delicious and fill your home with nostalgia and magic.

This Deer Ornament from Sainsburies will give our home the perfect rustic feel and the Copper Baubles from Ikea are just the start of my copper and cream colour scheme.

This Gold Wavy Top Vase from George at Asda was £10 and although very festive is something I’ll probably try and keep out all year round as it’s just so pretty!

Thanks for reading!

The Thorntons and Aveys are linked by more than you and Petes marriage. They put the decorations up on the 12th for Petes birthday and we have always put them up on the 13th for uncle Mikes birthday x
