I really loved my DIY beer bottle vase that I made last week, firstly because it gave me a chance to get creative and secondly because it got rid of the stacks full of empties in our garden that probably made our neighbours think we have a problem!
I thought they’d make great gifts too as there’s loads you can do with them to make them unique plus they are inexpensive – always a good’n!
It was my sister-in-laws birthday on Friday and I already blogged about the DIY handmade soap that I made for her which she really loved! I did her a bit of a homemade package with lots of little bits that I’ll upload later, and decided to add in a DIY beer bottle vase.
Her kitchen has tones of pink in and as she loves a bit of glitz I decided to make one with the same ivory paint inside but dipped in pink glitter!
It was so easy to do, I simply painted on the pva glue and then rolled the dipped end into a pot of glitter! I left it to dry for about an hour and then sprayed it with hairspray to seal it in as I knew the glitter would get everywhere otherwise!
I topped it off with a pretty pink rose to make it extra pretty ❤️
I have lots of other bits that I put in the package including a DIY homemade pumpkin pie hand scrub and some home made tea bags with cute labels, so make sure to look out for my next crafty post!
