I’m 27 weeks pregnant today and oh my this week has flown by! According to my app this is my last week in my 2nd trimester and then I’ll officially be on the last leg of pregnancy, my 3rd trimester!
I think (hope) being in my 3rd trimester will give me a kick up the butt to actually get the ball rolling and get a bit more prepared! As I mentioned last week in my 26 weeks pregnancy update I’ve been having quite a stressful time and that’s really taken over this pregnancy. I’m hoping this all settles down soon so that I can refocus but for now I’m keeping positive and taking everything day by day.
I’ve not had any appointments, scans or pregnancy classes this week; as I mentioned before I’ve had to stop yoga temporarily until I can arrange some childcare but I’m itching to get back into it!
My baby boy is 14.41 inches in length and 1.93 lbs in weight approximately. I’ve had a couple of people say to me that their little ones were born at 27 weeks and my app states that babies born between 27-32 weeks have a good chance of survival which not only makes me feel relieved, as if I’m in the clear, but also scares the crap out of me that I could have him as of now and I am nowhere near ready. It would also be very scary to think of how tiny he would be and the extra care he would need so if you could say in a little bit longer that would be wonderful little man!
I’m still having a really symptom-free week which I’m so grateful for at 27 weeks pregnant. I’ve had so much more energy and have been staying up till gone 11pm even though I’ve been woken up by Jasper around 6am every morning! I’ve not had that lag of energy during the day and it’s helped me to keep positive and motivated getting little jobs around the house done. I no longer have a messy drawer, cupboard or room in my house so I’m hoping this surge of energy remains until I’ve at least completed my pregnancy bucket list!
